Welcome to this British Museum Hebrew Bible Tour! Join us for a fascinating journey through ancient Assyria, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Babylon and Persia as we explore the biblical artifacts housed in this iconic institution. The British Museum is one of the great museums of the world, containing within it one of the most extensive collections of items relating to the Hebrew Bible (outside of Israel). This eye-opening tour will illuminate for us the background culture of biblical events and transport us into the world of the Patriarchs and Prophets. Along the way, we’ll see how archaeology gives strong support to the Bible's historical record. This is a not-to-be-missed experience, that will enrich your understanding of the Hebrew Bible.
